Developing a marketing strategy is important for any business. Developing a conscious marketing strategy is vital. Without one, you will struggle to connect with your target audience and your efforts to attract customers are likely to be haphazard and inefficient. If you don’t have a clear marketing strategy that outlines where you want to be then it is very difficult to define what you need to do to get there.

What is a conscious marketing strategy?

A conscious marketing strategy is shaped by a businesses strategy and is their blueprint to achieving their business goals.  It is their purpose - their why, values, vision and mission. It looks into where they are placed within the market and what makes them different from their competitors. 

It takes a close look into who their target market is. It looks past the traditional persona of demographics and delves deeper into their mindset and purchase behaviours.

Once a business has their conscious marketing strategy, only then will they be able to develop an effective marketing plan.

Why do I need a conscious marketing strategy?

If a business doesn’t have a clear conscious marketing strategy that outlines where they want to be then it is very difficult to define what they need to do to get there.  A marketing strategy makes all marketing decisions easier. If something doesn’t fit in with your strategy then don’t do it.

This is where we spend two half days together getting to the heart of your business and creating a strategy document that you can use as the baseline for all your marketing decisions. The strategy document will highlight the key strategical marketing goals to focus on in order to make the biggest difference to your business.

  • Group workshops. Don’t like working alone? Then the group workshop might just be the best option for you. This is where we get a number of small businesses in a room and spend the day together running through the process of creating a strategy document and what is involved. Each business will work on their individual business and will come out with the tools to create their strategy document. All businesses are encouraged to complete any part of the document that they were unable to complete in the workshop and send it in to us to review and provide feedback.
